The Boston Red Sox tied the World Series 2-2 after defeating the St. Louis Cardinals 4-2, with Game 5 scheduled for tonight, Monday October 28, starting at 8 PM with the pregame starting at 7 PM on WDEA AM 1370.

Johnny Gomes, a last minute substitute for Shane Victorino who was scratched with lower back stiffness blasted a 3 run homer.

After John Lackey came in relief in the 8th inning, the Sox turned to Koji Uehara pitched the 9th inning, and the game ended when he picked off Kolten Wong from first base with Carlos Beltran, the tie run, at the plate.
