Xander Bogaerts, Mookie Betts and Hanley Ramirez hit home runs. Dustin Pedroia had four hits. David Price had a solid start and the Red Sox sored an 8-3 Saturday night win over the KC Royals.

The Sox rapped out 12 hits, nine of them off KC top pitcher Danny Duffy.

Pedroia had a chance to tie a major league record of a 12-for-12 streak. He grounded out in his last at bat and the streak was stopped.

David Price went six innings to pick up his 13th win. He gave up just two runs, five hits and struck out seven.

At 72-57, the Sox are one game back of first place Toronto.
