Hanley Ramirez and Mitch Moreland cranked home runs, Rick Porcello did his job on the hill and the Red Sox completed a series sweep of the Toronto Blue Jays with a 7-1 win last night.

That win, combined with two Yankees losses to Cleveland puts Boston ahead by 5.5 games in the AL East as the  two teams begin a four game series tonight.

Porcello worked 6.2 innings, giving up just one solo home run. He gets his 9th win. Robbie Scott and Joe Kelly finished the game.

Ramirez, Moreland and Rafael Devers all had two hits. The Sox stole three more bases, finishing 11-for-11 in steals in the series.

The 76-57 Sox head to New York for tonight's game. Eduardo Rodriguez vs CC Sabathia is the pitching matchup with the pregame starting at 6:20 and 1st pitch at 7:05 on AM 1370 WDEA
