The Boston Red Sox evened their Spring Training record at 1-1 with a 6-5 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Thursday, March 3rd.

Rick Porcello pitched the 1st 2 innings for the Red Sox, allowing 3 hits, and 1 run (earned). He didn't walk anyone, nor did he strike out anyone.

The Red Sox rallied for 3 runs in the top of the 8th inning. Marco Hernandez hit a double driving in 2 runs to tie the game 5-5

And Rainel Rosario hit the go ahead single

There was some great fielding

The Red Sox play Friday afternoon against the Tampa Rays. Right hander Joe Kelly will start for the Red Sox and David Ortiz is expected to see his first game action of the Spring.
