Simon’s Cat for National Cat Day and Halloween [VIDEO]

JR Mitchell told me this morning that it's National Cat Day, so I wanted to share a cat video. My favorites are the cartoon videos entitled, 'Simon's Cat' and, since this one is geared toward Halloween, it seemed appropriate. It's cute and funny...like a real cat!

I love these videos because they're based on real feline behavior. Of course, there's a little creative license taken occasionally, just to make it a little funnier. But most of the time, it's just basic cat stuff. Like sharpening claws on the couch, or crawling into places where they don't belong. Any cat owner will tell you, that's typical!

The cartoons are done by a man named Simon Tolfield of Bristol, England, and were inspired by a number of pets he's lived with over the years. I hope you enjoy 'Simon's Cat!'
