My wife and I spent a great afternoon on the Bangor Waterfront attending the American Folk Festival on Saturday, August 29th.  The only thing missing was my parents who usually come up, but couldn't attend this year.

We normally set up chairs on the Railroad Stage, which is right next to the Darling's Waterfront Pavilion. The crowds were big, as it was a perfect afternoon with sunny skies, warm temps and a nice breeze!

The bands were fantastic! Here are the Sensational Royal Lights getting their Gospel on!

Then we were treated to some Quebecois music from De Temps Antan

After walking about a bit, we heard Preston Shannon and his band, playing Memphis Blues!

Of course a trip to the American Folk Festival isn't complete without some delicious food!
