Did you see the sardine drop at midnight in Eastport?  Neither did it.  But hundreds of people did.

It was the 10th annual New Year's Eve sardine drop, and when it made it's way to the ground a whole bunch of folks kissed the fish for good luck in the coming year. Fireworks were shot off over Eastport to welcome in 2015.

One hour before at midnight Atlantic Canada time, a giant maple leaf was dropped from the side of The Tides Institute & Museum of Art to signify the beginning of the new year in New Brunswick.
