Rugby 7’s Throwback to 1978

I was very lucky in that I went to High School in Bermuda, at Saltus Grammar School. Bermuda, being a British Colony meant we played British sports in school, like cricket, badminton and rugby, in addition to  soccer, volleyball and basketball.  I am enjoying watching the Rugby 7's in the Olympics, and it made me think back to when I played for Saltus Grammar School!

I played on the 7 a-side team as well as the 15 a-side team. Above is the picture from my Senior Year at Saltus, when we won the Island wide tournament, the Whitney 7's.
