Rte. 3 Bar Harbor Reconstruction Continues This Week
The MaineDOT continues to battle the snow in more ways than one this week. Here’s what they’re trying to accomplish within the Bar Harbor Route 3 reconstruction project during the remainder of the week.
Of course all work is weather dependent.
– This week the contractor plans to work on clearing from Duck Brook to College of the Atlantic.
– The utility contractor will continue setting new telephone poles starting at Sand Point Road and continue south down the project.
The the two and a half year, $17.9 million project, will span from a point 0.57 miles west of Sand Point Road to the intersection of Route 3/Eden Street and Route 233 in Bar Harbor.
