Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan returned to New York and picked up a win over the team that fired him as his new team came away with a 22-17 victory.Ryan and the Bills might have got themselves back in the playoff hunt with Thursday nights win which improves their record to 5-4 on the season.

After the Jets got on the scoreboard with a field goal, the Bills would run off the next 22 points as Tyrod Taylor threw a touchdown pass and LeSean McCoy rushed for 129 yards.

The Jets were able to close the gap late but turnovers proved to be their downfall. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw two interceptions including one with only 17 seconds left that sealed the win for Buffalo. New York also fumbled the ball away twice, once on kickoff return which the Bills scooped up and returned for a touchdown.
