It may only be Spring Training, but the Boston Red Sox play the New York Yankees today, Friday March 23rd at 1 PM in a game that will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA!

Yesterday, Thursday March 22nd the Red Sox had their 9 game winning streak snapped, losing to the Baltimore Orioles 10-7 after leading 7-2 in the top of the 5th inning.  Yesterday Mookie Betts and Christian Vazquez each had 2 hits, with Vazquez hitting a solo homer. JD Martinex added a RBI triple and Sam Travis reached base 3 times,  going 1-2 with 2 walks. Travis leads the Red Sox this Spring with 5 homers and 16 RBIs.

The Red Sox have the 3rd best Spring Training record at 17-9-1, behind the Milwaukee Brewers with a MLB best 18-8 and Houston Astros with a 17-8 record.

Today the Red Sox are scheduled to send Brian Johnson, Justin Haley and Robby Scott to the mound, while the Yankees are expected to counter with Masahiro Tanaka, Dellin Betances, Tommy Kahnle, Wade LeBlanc and Casen Shreve.

Tomorrow the Red Sox will play the Houston Astros with Chris Sale getting the start. The pregame will start at 1 PM  and 1st pitch at 1:05 on AM 1370 WDEA.
