Red Sox World Series Trophy This Weekend In Bangor and Orono

This Sunday, the 2014 World Series Trophy will make it's way to Bangor and Orono!  Officials from the Red Sox organization along with Wally the Green Monster, the Red Sox mascot, will present the World Series Championship Trophy for viewing at both the Cross Insurance Center and at the Alfond Arena!  Both events are free and open to the public!

The event at the Cross Insurance Center goes from 10am until 12 noon in the Center's Ballroom.  Free parking is available in the Center's parking lots as well as the top two floors of the parking garage at Hollywood Casino.  Enter the Center at the Southeast Entrance (clock tower). The University of Maine's Womens Basketball Game VS Stony Brook begins at 11am, so parking is encouraged at the lots mentioned above.

Then, the event at the Alfond Arena at UMaine will go from 2 until 4pm.  The annual Skate with the Bears event will also be happening for the majority of that time, so you may want to prepare for that.  It's a great way to meet the Maine Black Bear hockey teams, both men and women.

Once again, admission to everything is free!  Bring a camera!
