Clay Buchholz pitched a great game, going 8 innings, allowing only 1 earned run. He scattered 5 hits, struck out 5 and didn't walk anyone. Buchholz improved his record to 6-6 and lowered his ERA to 3.48. In his last 7 games, Buchholz is 4-1 with a 2.25 ERA!

Mookie Betts was 2-4 with a triple, Xander Bogaerts drove in 2 runs and was 1-4 with a double. Alejandro De Aza, playing left field was 3-4.
