Red Sox Sweep Royals Win on Sunday 7-4

Prior to the game, the Red Sox placed Christian Vazquez on the 10 day disabled list and Left handed pitcher Brian Johnson on the 10 day disabled list with hip inflammation, retroactive to July 5th. They recalled right handed pitcher William Cuevas from Pawtucket and added Ryan Brasier a right handed pitcher to the 40 man roster from Pawtucket.
The Red Sox remain 2 games ahead of the New York Yankees who beat the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday 2-1. The Yankees start a series at Baltimore on Monday
