Another series finale, another win for the Boston Red Sox, as they beat the Baltimore Orioles Sunday afternoon in Fenway Park, May 20th, 5-0. The Red Sox are now 14-1 in series finales and remain tied for 1st place with the New York Yankees.

Eduardo Rodriguez went 5.2 innings scattering 9 hits, striking out 7. Heath Hembree, Bobby Poyner and Brian Johnson closed out the game, combining to allow 4 hits and striking out 3. The Red Sox pitchers didn't walk a batter the entire game.

JD Martinez hit his 14th and 15th homers, and drove in 3 runs going 2-4. Andrew Benintendi was 3-5, hitting a 2 run homer.

The Red Sox have now hit homers in their last 12 games and 19 of their last 20 games!

The Red Sox are off on Monday, before opening a series in Florida against the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday, May 22nd. The Red Sox are scheduled to send Chris Sale to the mound with his 4-1 record and 2.29 ERA. The New York Yankees open a 3 game series in Texas against the Rangers on Monday, May 21st.
