Red Sox Game Postponed Thursday Night

The Boston Red Sox game against Cleveland scheduled for Thursday April 7th has been posptoned. Joe Kelly was  scheduled to take the mound for the Red Sox. Kelly finished the 2015 season going 8-0 in his last 9 starts. He will be opposed on the mound by Danny Salazar.

Manager John Farrell has posted the starting lineup, and the only change is that Ryan Hanigan is the starting catcher, and batting 8th, replacing Blake Swihart.

Birthday Boys- Today is Eduardo Rodriguez's birthday, he is 23 today. It also is the the birthday of Hall of Famer, Bobby Doerr who is 98. He is the oldest living Red Sox.

Papi's Place in History - David Ortiz is Tied for 17th with Rafael Palmeiro in All Time Doubles with 585. Todd Helton is 16th on the list with 592. Ortiz is 26th on the All Time Home Run List with 505. Gary Sheffield is 25th with 509.

The Boston Red Sox will travel to Toronto after the game to play a 3 game series against the Blue Jays. Rick Porcello will pitch Friday April 8th with the first pitch at 7:07 PM, Steven Wright will pitch Saturday April 9th at 1:07 PM and David Price will take the mound on Sunday, April 10th at 1:07 PM
