Featuring a lineup that will closely resemble their opening day lineup, the Red Sox received 2 hits each from Dustin Pedroia, Brock Holt, Hanley Ramirez, Jackie Bradley Jr. and Pablo Sandoval. Bradley Jr. had 2 homers, and Hanley Ramirez, Bryce Bentz and Steve Selsky blasted home runs.

Eduardo Rodriguez started the game for the Red Sox and pitched 2 strong innings. He didn't allow a hit or walk, and struck out 2.
