The Boston Red Sox beat the Baltimore Orioles Friday night, April 13th, 7-3 for their 11th win of the season! With a record of 11-2, the Red Sox are off to the best start since 1918, a year in which they beat the Chicago Cubs.

Eduardo Nunez was one of the offensive starts for the Red Sox, launching a 3 run homer over the Green Monster in the 1st inning. Nunez ended up 2-4 with 3 runs batted in.

Rafael Devers was 3-5, hitting safely in his 1st 3 at bats. He had a double.

Tzu-Wei Lin was 2-3 with a walk, reaching base 3 times. His 1st hit of 2018 was a double, his first career double.

Eduardo Rodriguez threw 6 innings allowing 5 hits and 1 earned run. He struck out 8 and walked 2 to pick up his 1st win of the season.

The Red Sox will take on the Orioles in the 2nd game of the 4 game series Saturday afternoon with the pregame starting at 12:20 and 1st pitch at 1:05 on AM 1370 WDEA. Hector Velazquez is scheduled to pitch for the Red Sox.
