The Boston Red Sox beat the Baltimore Orioles 4-0 Friday night, in a game heard on AM 1370 WDEA. Righty Kyle Kendrick threw 4 scoreless innings allowing just 4 hits and striking out 2 while walking 2 batters. He improved to 2-0 in the Spring.

Chris Young, Marco Rutledge and Sam Travis drove in runs for the Red Sox. The Sox had 5 hits off the Oriole's pitching.

Saturday afternoon the Red Sox play two games with split squads taking on the Minnesota Twins and Tampa Bay Rays. Henry Owens will pitch against the Twins while Chris Sale will pitch against the Rays.
