The Red Sox beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 8-4 at Fenway Park on Tuesday, October 23rd to take a 1-0 lead in the best of 7 series. The winner of Game 1 has been the World Series Champion 12 out of the last 15 years.

Eduardo Nunez came off the bench hitting a 3 run homer in the bottom of the 7th inning to give the Red Sox insurance runs

Andrew Benintendi had a night to remember in his first career World Series game. He had 4 hits, including a double and scored 3 runs. He was 4-5 on the night.

JD Martinez was 2-3 with a double and drove in 2 runs.

Chris Sale went 4 innings allowing 5 hits, and 3 runs. He struck out 7 and walked 2. Matt Barnes picked up the win in relief.

Mookie Betts stole a base, which means a free Doritos Locos Tacos for everyone at Taco Bell on November 1st from 2 to 6 PM

The Red Sox and Dodgers will play Game 2 of the World Series on Wednesday Night at Fenway Park with the pregame starting at 7PM and first pitch at 8:09PM on AM 1370 WDEA.  David Price is scheduled to take the mound for the Red Sox.
