The Boston Red Sox beat the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday, April 1st as baseball returned to Montreal. The Red Sox won in 10 innings, 4-2.

Steven Wright, the knuckleballer had the ball floating and dancing in the dome, allowing 2 runs, coming on home runs in the 1st and 2nd inning, but settled down to pitch 5.2 strong innings, allowing 7 hits, striking out 8 and walking 1. He finishes Spring Training with a 2.77 ERA.

Matt Barnes picked up the win, pitching the 9th inning, and ends the Spring with a 0.68 ERA.

Mookie Betts was 3-4 with a double and a RBI. Xander Bogaerts was 2-3 with a RBI.

The Red Sox are now 13-18 in Spring Training and will play their final exhibition game on Saturday, April 2nd at 1 PM in a game that will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA.
