Red Sox Acquire Badenhop from Brewers

The Boston Red Sox acquired right handed pitcher Burke Badenhop from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for minor league player Luis Ortega.

Badenhop was 2-3 for Milwaukee in 2013, appearing in 63 games. He had 1 save in 4 save opportunities and pitched 62.1 innings for the Brewers. He allowed 62 hits, 32 runs of which 23 were earned runs. He struck out 42 and walked 12, and opponents batted .266 against him.
