Drew Pomeranz threw 6.1 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 7 hits. He struck out 8 and didn't walk a batter. With his 11th win of the season, Pomeranz has tied his career high.

The Red Sox received 2 run home runs from Andrew Benintendi and Jackie Bradley Jr. They were the 13th home runs of the season for each. Benintendi was 2-3, and had a walk and stolen base.

Craig Kimbrel pitched the 9th inning for his 26th save of the season.
