UConn only trailed once in the game and that was in the first few minutes when they got down by a bucket. After taking the lead they never looked back getting 21 points from senior Breanna Stewart to go along with 17 points and 16 rebounds from fellow senior Stefanie Dolson.

The Huskies wrap up a perfect 40-0 season while the Irish suffer their only loss of the season and finish with a 37-1 record.
