A crazy 24 hours at Fenway Park that saw five trades and several players called up from Pawtucket ended with a 4-3 win over the New York Yankees.New right fielder Yoenis Cespedes did not arrive to the park in time to be in the starting lineup, but Anthony Ranaudo made it from the Pawsox for his Major League debut and did just fine. Ranaudo went 6 innings allowing 2 runs on 4 hits and struck out Derek Jeter for his first career strikeout.

The game also saw some great defense as Mookie Betts was recalled and made a spectacular diving catch in centerfield. Dustin Pedroia's bat came alive with 2 hits and 2 rbi while newly acquired Allen Craig collected a double in his first game in a Sox uniform.
