Quad City Thunder 3-Peat

Make It 3 years in a row for this group of girls, as this past weekend they won their 3rd straight Maine AAU State Championship! The Quad City Thunder, a team comprised of primarily MDI and Hermon girls have now won the 5th Grade, 6th Grade and 7th Grade Maine State AAU Championships!

The Thunder's closest margin of victory was 16 points, as they won by 20, 16, 27, 27 and 19 points.

The team was coached by Sharon Tracy and Christy Tapley. Playing for the Quad City Thunder were

MDI- Olivia Gray, Mollie Gray, Leah Carroll and Elizabeth Jones
Hermon - Megan Tracy, Sidney Gallop,  and Charlotte Caron
Holbrook - Maddie Lebel
Millinocket - Alisyn Alley

Note- All the girls are 7th graders with the exception of Mollie Gray who is a 5th grader
