Pirate's Cove in Bar Harbor reopens for the season on May 1st, and just one month from today, on May 16th, hundreds of putters will be on their course putting to raise funds to fight cancer, and we want you to be there!

This annual fundraiser, hosted by the Bar Harbor Rotary Club, on May 16th will transform Pirate's Cove into a fundraising party as teams vie for the title of Most Awesome Mini Golfers (as well as prizes) while raising money to support local cancer funds and patient services.

Registration begins at 8:30 am, with a shotgun start at 9. Teams of four can register ahead of time or on that Saturday for $50. Businesses and individuals can also sponsor holes for $100 or donate door prizes.  Team prepayments are encouraged but can be completed at the event. Contact Steve Boucher at 266-9287 or by emailing steve@acadiacornerstone.com for more information.

The Bar Harbor Rotary Club has raised thousands of dollars to support those in need in our community. This event originated to help a Bar Harbor photographer pay for gas to get to his cancer treatments out of the county. His widow continues to serve on Rotary’s committee, committed to help others undergo struggles similar to her husband’s.
