I have been out on the Bar Harbor Whale Watch's Puffin and Whales Tour, and it's incredible! To see something as large as a whale breaching around you, and to see something as tiny and cute as a puffin just off the coast of Maine is breathtaking.

I stumbled across this video today, of a puffin and according to the description of the video "In the background you can hear a strange noise. No, it’s not a chainsaw trimming trees. Silent above ground, in breeding burrows the Atlantic puffin’s call is a deep “arrr-uh.” You can also hear the calls of other birds."

Who knew that puffins sound like chainsaws???
