Private Sector to the Rescue (Video)

With the budget cuts, and the sequester, military flyovers at most large events have been eliminated. Well apparently there are a group of pilots in Kansas City who do formation flying in their own planes, and they decided that they would volunteer to pick up the slack.

Well they invited a few others to join their group, who invited a few more, and it kept snowballing, and before you know it, they had 48 pilots committed to flyover Arrowhead Stadium. Another was added just before game time, so they had 49 pilots flying! And to top it off, they used pink smoke for breast cancer awareness! Officials were there from the Guinness Book of Records, and they are expected to certify it as the largest group flyover of a sporting event!
