You name it and it went wrong for the Boston Red Sox in Saturday night's wild and whacky 11-9 loss.

Early in the night, strong winds knocked a video monitor into broadcaster Jerry Remy's head and he had to leave the broadcast booth.

$30-million-dollar man David Price gave up 11 hits and 5 runs in 5.2 innings and still left the game with the lead.

The combination of Buchholz, Layne and Hembree out of the bullpen gave up 6 runs in 1.1 innings.

Xander Bogaerts had four hits, David Ortiz had three...and the Sox still lost.

After the game the Red Sox optioned Heath Hembree to Pawtucket. They're expected to recall Joe Kelley who has been converted to a reliever before Sunday's game against the Twins. The pregame starts at 12:50 on AM 1370 WDEA with the 1st pitch at 1:35

Here's manager John Farrell's explanation...
