As of 4 PM on Friday, April 8th 4587 Emera Maine customers were still without power.  Here are the estimated restoration times.

Washington, Hancock and all of Penobscot County - Majority of customer will be restored by 10 PM Friday night.

Customers in remote or outlying areas may be without power as oflate as Saturday afternoon.

Thursday night's wind and rain have passed but not without causing considerable amount of damage thanks to trees that have toppled and branches that have snapped because of the high winds.

The National Weather Service in Caribou has reported that wind gusts reached 58 miles per hour at the Bar Harbor Airport at 10:21 PM and gusts were steady around 45 miles per hour in Bar Harbor late last night. Eastport seems to have had the strongest gust, at 64 miles per hour at 1 AM this morning and Bangor International Airport had a gust of 49 miles per hour at 8:46 PM last night.
