We are in Day 6 since almost 88,000 Emera Maine customers lost power on October 30th thanks to hurricane force winds that buffeted Maine, the most since the Ice Storm of 1998. As of Saturday morning at 8:30 AM   there were 6,894 without power.

You can view the live outage and restoration Map. .  Emera Maine lineman and contracted crews from as far away as Tampa, Florida are working in these areas today Emera Maine expects to have the majority of those without power restored today, Saturday Novermber 4th.  If you are still without power, it might be a good idea to call Emera Maine and make sure they know you are still without power. Customers may report outages via their website or by calling the Customer Contact Center at (207) 973-2000 or 1-855-EMERA11 (1-855-363-7211).

Emera Maine is working in the following Hancock County towns today - Amherst, Aurora, Bar Harbor, Blue Hill, Brooklin, Brooksville, Corea, Deere Isle, Eastbrook, Ellsworth, Franklin, Gouldsboro, Great Pond, Hancock, Lamoine, Mariaville, Mount Desert, Newbury Neck, Otis, Prospect Harbor, Sedgewick, Sorrento, Sullivan, Surry, Swans Island, Southwest Harbor, Trenton, Tremont, Waltham,and Winter Harbor

Most of all the customers in Gouldsboro, Sullivan, Swans Island and Winter Harbor area are restored. Locations with damage serving a single customer or with damage to the electrical system on the property may need additional repair work.
