Rick Porcello is a 20 game winner. The offense banged out 13 and 18 hits. But most importantly, the Boston Red Sox own a two game lead in first place in the AL East after Friday night's 13-3 win in Toronto.

Everything fell in place for the Sox in game one of this showdown series.

Porcello allowed just two runs on six hits in seven innings agains the Blue Jays. He struck out seven and walked just one. For the year, Porcello is 20-3 with a 3.21 ERA. He is the first Red Sox pitcher to win 20 games since Josh Beckett in 2007.

At the plate, Dustin Pedroia had the biggest night - three hits and four RBI. Hanley Ramirez and Xander Bogaerts hit home runs.

David Ortiz picked up another two hits...and picked up a new farewell gift before the game...

The Red Sox and Blue Jays are back at it Saturday afternoon in the middle game of the 3 game series. Eduardo Rodriguez is scheduled to pitch for the Red Sox with the pregame starting at 12:20 and 1st pitch at 1:05 on AM 1370 WDEA.
