Rick Porcello's pitching and Mookie Bett's hitting carried the Red Sox to a Saturday night win over Tampa bay 3-1.

The Sox remain three games up on the Yankees who also won their game Saturday.

Porcello was solid on the hill all night - 7.1 innings, one unearned run, five hits and just one walk.
Addison Reed and Craig Kimbrel took care of the final five outs.

Betts hit his 22nd home run to drive in the first run of the game. He added a RBI single in the sixth inning. Rafael Devers had the other Sox RBI.

At 85-63, the Sox are a season-best 22 games over 500 with 14 games left on the schedule.

The Red Sox go for the sweep Sunday afternoon with Eduardo Rodriguez pitching. The pregame starts at 12:25 with the 1st pitch at 1:10 on AM 1370 WDEA.
