Patriots Win But Don’t Celebrate with 87 cent Coffee

The New England Patriots beat the Houston Texans on Sunday, September 9th 27-20 but if you went to Dunkin Donuts on Monday, September 10th for your discounted coffee, well you were sorely disappointed!

Back in 2015 Dunkin Donuts offered a free medium coffee if the Patriots won, but according to the Boston Globe after giving away 2.25 million coffees, Dunkin discounted their coffees to 87 cents, in honor of spokesperson Rob Gronkowski's number. It stayed that way for the last 2 years, in the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

But, Dunkin has no plans to bring back the promotion this year. So much for "If the Patriots win, you win"
