David Ortiz is making sure no one ever forgets his final season. Last night it was a 7th inning two-run homer to give the Red Sox a 5-3 come-from-behind win over the Toronto Blue Jays.

Ortiz now has 38 home runs and his 127 RBI ties him for the league lead.

Rick Porcello was not sharp on a cold, rainy night at Fenway. He went six innings, giving up three runs on eight hits. He got a no decision. Porcello finishes the regular season at 22-4 and an ERA of 3.15.

The Sox are 93-67 and are now guaranteed to play the Cleveland Indians in the first round of the playoffs. Still at stake is home field advantage for that series.

The Boston Red Sox take on the Blue Jays tonight in the 2nd to last game of the regular season with the pregame starting at 6:25 PM with the 1st pitch at 7:10 on AM 1370 WDEA. The Red Sox will play the Indians in the playoffs starting on Thursday, October 6th at a time still to be determined.
