Eduardo Rodriguez shut down the Toronto Blue Jays for six innings, allowing just one run on four hits and the Red Sox beat the Jays 4-3.

The Sox staked E-Rod to an early lead with two bases loaded walks in the first inning off Marco Estrada.

Jackie Bradley Jr and David Ortiz hit home runs to add to the lead. For Ortiz, it was career homer #479.
