It's one of the best days of the year, for baseball fans! The Boston Red Sox start the 2015 season today, at 3:05 PM in Philadelphia as the Red Sox take on the Phillies. Because the game is being played in a National League city, the Red Sox will be without the designated hitter, but the plan is for David Ortiz to start at 1st base. That means that Mike Napoli will be available to come off the bench as a pinch hitter or defensive replacement.

Clay Buchholz will take the mound for the Red Sox, and he will be opposed by Cole Hamels. The Red Sox will have a revamped lineup for 2015, much different from the team that disappointed in 2014. Hanley Ramirez will be starting in left field, Pablo Sandoval will be starting at 3rd base, and Ryan Hanigan will be starting behind the plate.

Today's game, and every game will be heard on AM 1370 WDEA. Today's pregame begins at 2:20 PM.
