Only 4 Fee Free Days to the National Parks in 2018

Have you bought your Half Price Pass to Acadia National Park yet? Remember they're available only through the end of the month of December. There's an extra incentive to purchase your pass for $25.00 as the National Park Service announced their fee free days for 2018 and there are only 4.

The four entrance fee-free days for 2018 will be:

• January 15 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
• April 21 – First Day of National Park Week
• September 22 – National Public Lands Day
• November 11 – Veterans Day

Acadia National Park doesn't collect fees until May 1st and collects them through October 31st, so in effect there will only be 1 Fee Free Day at Acadia National Park, that is September 22nd.

There were 10 Fee Free Days in 2017 and 2 during the time period that Acadia National Park collected fees.
