One Person Dead in Apartment Fire

The State Fire Marshal's office says one person has died in an early morning apartment fire. The apartment was located over a garage.

The fire was reported in an Ogunquit house, on Besbill Street, at around two o'clock Thursday morning. Firefighters say the victim is a man, whose body was found after they arrived on scene.

Fire investigators are now working to pinpoint the cause of the blaze. The victim's identity is expected to be released later today. We'll update this story as more details become available.
