Old Town Wins Coin Toss

It was a good weekend to be an Old Town Coyote. The Coyotes defeated MDI 31-8 Friday night to finish the season undefeated at 8-0.

On Saturday afternoon, Winslow defeated Waterville 35-0, and they too finished undefeated with an 8-0 record. Both Winslow and Old Town had identical Crabtree Points, so as a result, the determination as to who would be #1 and #2 came down to a coin flip, and Old Town won!

So, that means, pending certification on Monday, the playoff brackets are set. Old Town the #1 seed will have a bye next weekend. Winslow the #2 seed will also have a bye.  #3 MDI will host #6 Oceanside, Friday October 30th at 7 PM in a game that will be broadcast on WDEA AM 1370 and WDEA Internet Radio. #4 Madison will host #5 Foxcroft Academy. The #5 and #6 seeds were determined by coin toss as well.

The following weekend, #1 Old Town will host the winner of Madison-Foxcroft game, and #2 Winslow will host the winner of the MDI-Oceanside game.
