The Ellsworth Eagles Boy's Baseball Team played their 4th game of the week, and fell to the Old Town Coyotes 4-0 in Old Town on Thursday, May 22nd.

Tyler Byther started off  the home half of the 1st inning for Old Town with a double, and scored on a single by Tyler Young.

Old Town added 3 more runs in the bottom of the 4th inning. Braden Upshaw walked and advanced to 2nd on a single by TJ Crawford. Upshaw stole home to score, and Crawford scored on a double by Tyler Young. Young scored when Eric Hoogterp reached on an error on the Ellsworth third baseman.

Ellsworth was limited to 6 hits, with doubles by Brandon Braley and Steven Mahon. Conor Maguire had 2 singles and Mitchell Domagala and Silas Davis had singles for Ellsworth.

Nick Bagley threw a complete game for Ellsworth, picking up the loss, allowing 4 runs, 3 of which were earned. He gave up 6 hits, walked 5 and struck out 3.

Garvey Melmed picked up the win for Old Town pitching a complete game. He allowed 6 hits, struck out 9 and walked 4.

Ellsworth is now 4-7 and plays at Washington Academy tomorrow afternoon, May 23rd. Old Town is 5-4 and plays at MDI on Saturday, May 24th at 12 Noon.
