On a sunny hot Labor Day with temperatures hovering around 90 degrees, the Old Town Coyotes nipped the Ellsworth Eagles 1-0 in a girl's soccer match in Old Town.

Callie Brackley found the net for Old Town, assisted by Mikayla Richards in the first half, and Old Town made the lead hold up.

Ellsworth had 11 shots on goal, while Old Town had 16. Callie Hammer was in goal for the Eagles.

Ellsworth is now 0-2 on the season and will host Hermon at 6 PM on Wednesday, September 9th. Old Town is now 1-1 and will play at MDI on Wednesday September 9th at 6 PM.
