Old Town Police have released more information about an industrial accident this week at the mill in Old Town that killed one man, including the victim's identity. The deceased was a contractor for the mill and was not an employee of Expera.

Captain Lee Miller said in a press release that company officials believe Mark Guay, age 54 of Norridgewock, was attempting to prepare his wood chip trailer to be unloaded Tuesday afternoon. At some point, he climbed up on his trailer and lost his balance, falling into the hopper of the machine approximately 25 feet to the bottom.

Guay was a truck driver for Richard Carrier Trucking out of Skowhegan.
