Now Comes the Cold

Now that the blizzard has come and gone, we are left with the clean up and bitterly cold temperatures on the way for the weekend!

Friday night in Bar Harbor and Ellsworth we can expect temperatures as low as 3 below zero. Winds will be westerly 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 40 miles per hour. Wind chill readings will be as low as 25 below 0.

Saturday, the highs will only be around 4 above 0. Winds will be out of the west blowing 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 miles per hour. Wind chill readings will be as low as 28 below 0.

Saturday night the lows will be 5 to 11 below 0. Northwesterly winds will blow 15 to 25 miles per hour with gust up to 40 miles per hour. Wind chill readings will be as low as 32 below 0.

Make sure you bundle up, wear your hats and gloves/mittens. Remember to bring your pets in! If it's too cold for you, it's too cold for your pets!
