It's hard to believe that with all the snow, that we're nowhere close to set the record for the snowiest winter. To date, February 23rd, Bangor has received 110.3 inches of snow. The record, was the winter of 1962-1963 when we received 181.9 inches.

Think about it, if we were to receive another 71.6 inches of snow, that would mean are snowbanks would be about double the size the are now! I don't know about you, but I'm having difficulty creeping out into the intersections to see around the banks before pulling out into traffic! Just imagine how much snow we would have received if we had any in December! Better yet, don't!

For those keeping track at home, the first official day of Spring, at least according to the calendar is March 20th!
