Northeast Harbor won’t be a small sleepy town on Saturday, December 1st with the Northeast Harbor Christmas Festival, a day full of activities highlighted by Santa’s arrival at the Marina aboard the Sunbeam at 4 PM.

The activities include

Frosty 5K - Registration begins at 9AM at the Neighborhood House. Walkers and children begin at 9:30 and the run starts at 10AM
Holiday Card and Snowflake Making - 10AM to 12Noon at the Northeast Harbor Library
 Santa's Workshop - 1-3PM at the Neighborhood House. Children can bring canned goods or non-perishable food items for the food pantry or make a financial donation then shop and wrap up to 4 gifts with a personal shopper

 

Horse and Carriage Rides with Waikerie Farm. Weather permitting from 3-6PM at Bar Harbor Bank and Trust.
 
Caroling with the Girl Scouts - 3PM at the Maple Lane Apartments
Santa and Mrs. Claus Arrive on the Sunbeam at 4PM at the Marina

Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus - On the porch of Carter Real Estate from 4:15 to 5:30

Festival of Trees - Mount Desert Nursery School 4:30-6PM

Bonfire - Great Harbor Maritime Museum 4:30-7PM. Crafts and snacks available to benefit local non-profits
"A Christmas Story" - Presented by Acadia Community Theater 7PM at the Neighborhood House
