Nominations Now Being Accepted for Bar Harbor Elected Officials

Nominations are now being accepted for the following elected positions in Bar Harbor - 2 seats for the Town Council, 1 seat for Superintending Schools and 1 seat for MDI School District Trustee.

Nomination papers must be returned by Friday, April 27th. To be on the ballot, there must be a minimum of 25 certified signatures by the Town Clerk's office.

Voters will go to the polls on Tuesday, June 12th.

The Town Council Seats are currently occupied by Gary Friedman and Peter St. Germain. The Superintending School Seat is held by Marie Yarborough and the MDI School District Trustee is currently Robert Jordan
