National Voter Registration Day – Tuesday, September 25th

I'm sure you've heard the saying that "Elections have consequences". It's true, and if you are not registered to vote, you should take advantage of National Voter Registration Day, which is the 4th Tuesday in September, which happens to be Tuesday, September 25th.

In Bar Harbor, the YWCA MDI, located at 36 Mount Desert Street is celebrating National Voter Registration Day with a cookout and movie, plus your chance to register to vote!

From 9AM to 5PM there will be onsite voter registration

From 4PM to 6Pm there will be an All-American Cookout with hamburgers and hot dogs and all the trimmings.

The from 6PM-8PM the movie Swing Vote, starring Kevin Kostner will be shown. "In a remarkable turn of events, the result of the presidential election comes down to one man's vote."
