Before the game the Orioles gave David Ortiz that phone box that he destroyed in the Baltimore dugout a few years ago. And then, Ortiz and the Sox went out and made it a four game sweep of the O's, winning 5-3.

Make it eight straight wins for the Sox and eight straight wins for David Price.

Price pitched seven innings, giving up a three run homer and that was about it. He threw 99 pitches, 72 were strikes. He is now 17-8.

Andrew Benintendi drove in the winning run with a two out hit. Hanley Ramirez cracked his 29th home run.

The magic number to clinch the AL East is now down to five with nine games left on the schedule. The Red Sox open a 3 game series with the Tampa Bay Rays Friday night, with the pregame starting at 6:25 and 1st pitch at 7:10 on AM 1370 WDEA.
